The Inca Quarry Trek is one of the newest and least crowded trekking routes to Machu Picchu and unique trek taking you to remote Inca ruins; also you will enjoy the wonderful landscape with impressive glacier mountains, privilege to enjoy the famous sacred valley with its ancestral communities, colorful vegetation’s, one of most beautiful  waterfalls, ancient Inca aqueducts and also allows you to see the place from where the Inca builders took the giant pink granite stones to build the wonderful city of Ollantaytambo. Overview

Pick you up from your hotel at 6:00am where ever it’s located, and drive for 2 hours to reach the typical Inca community of Socma (3200m / 10.496ft), the starting point of our trek. There we meet the muleteer that will join us during the hike. 

  • DAY 1: CUSCO – SOQMA – PEROLNIYOC – RAYAN
  • DAY 2: RAYAN – INTIPUNKU – CHOQUETACARPO
  • DAY 3: CHOQUETACARPO – KACHIQATA INCA QUARRY
  •  – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES
  • DAY 4: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
  • Walking Distance: 33 Km. / 21 miles (entire trail)
  • Estimated Walking Hours: 6 – 8 hours (per day)
  • Lowest Altitude: 2000 m. / 6.561 Ft.
  • Highest Altitude: 4450 m. / 14.599 Ft.
  • Longest day: day 2, approximately : 14km / 9 miles
  • Highest campsite: day 1, approximately: 3700m / 12.138ft.
